Throughout a week of immersive events we combined many diverging fields through their intersection with sound.Leading scientists, psychologists, researchers and artists came together to extensively explore diverse connections between audio, art and science.
The main festival was held at the cultural institution Acud Macht Neu from 1-3 November. Alongside this, satellite events spread out across the German capital took place in the days leading up to the festival. The programme included panel talks, presentations, workshops, performances, installations and artwork. By exploring the multi-disciplinary use of audio within education, innovation, health and art, Eufonia enabled individuals, technology and institutions to converge; gaining inspiration and insights from industry heavyweights and pioneers. Additionally, it enabled attendees to discover, create and experience the medium of sound in a new way. Priding itself on being an inclusive environment, the festival catered to the hearing impaired in order to unite both the hearing and deaf communities.

“The exhibition pieces were all thoughtfully selected and the presentations ... shone light on topics that are relevant and diverse. The energy in the room was extremely positive and friendly and people treated each other very respectfully. No matter what background they had.... and I learned a lot! One of the best events I went to this year.”
