boris martins nunes (1981) is a musician and based in lagares da beira. he has played in several bands with the most diverse musical styles. punk, reggae, rock to more exploratory approaches within improvised music and electronic music. he is the founder of the band duassemicolcheiasinvertidas (dsci) and the therapeutic association of noise. he is currently engaged in three solo projects where he explores different sounds: catapult, boris of the woods and kid.

born in 1982, miguel freire whose war name is mee_k, has been playing to the public since 1997. influenced by the broken beats and hot bass lines of drum n' bass, hardstep, hip-hop and trip-hop, mee_k is one of the pioneers in the portuguese drum n' bass movement. whoever listens to him lets himself be carried away by the unsettling power of his sound, leading the public to an explosion, where from the vinyl comes out devilish scratchs full of groove and personality.

he is interested in the experimental processes of sound production in the arts, teaching and artistic research. he studied multimedia art, photography and sound. he works in the fbaul multimedia art department, where he also teaches sound art., he has been a member of the pogo art collective since 1998, producing sound pieces, multimedia content, concerts and exhibitions. he founded with miguel sá the independent label variz ghent, the most recent project he developed with the musician nuno moita and the artist sandra zuzarte.

gabriel pepe is a portuguese musician who at only 23 years old is preparing to launch his first work. influenced by portuguese intervention singers and brazilian popular music, he begins the creation of his first songs. in these, we hear the delicate blossoming of the words with the grip of the guitar, in a poetics that sings the cosmic of nature that his eyes perceive.

taking its name from an infamous henry miller novel, the project of this barreiro's son helder menor is inspired by the more unstable face of electronics and the spirit of diy punk. with one foot firmly based on african rhythms and another on the rave culture of the 90's - from where it departs to the discovery of sounds as differing as possible from each other. in short, it is a great mixture where the banal references are presented as experimentation. in 2017 started linha amarela and in 2018 won the out.ra association scholarship with the film and audiovisual performance "se uma árvore cair".

pascal ansell is a lisbon-based writer and musician. previous talks have explored mysticism and the subreal, portuguese football, 'cooking with salazar', boxing and the mastery of joe meek. member of elyte gymnastics, he performs solo under the pseudonym panelak, exploring noise sounds and post punk styles.

was born under the name ramona weirather in the alps in tirol, austria, where she began to play the transverse flute. after travelling the world, inspired by the rhythm and mixture of cultures, the flute was taken to portugal in 2010 and is now being played again in a new context. the electronic music and its universe opened up and started playing with effect pedals, distortions, loopstation and other instruments. nowadays it is part of the dub adub & sister ra project (having performed in freenkuency and musa festivals) and plays with the collective desterronics (having performed in forte and zna festivals).

bass player, composer, dj, producer, and musical magician, bernardo d'addario (tempura the purple boy) was born in lisbon with brazilian roots. musician since the age of 16, after high school he followed music studies in london and roterdam and finds a passion for electronic music when he discovers berlim. dedicated years composing and recording in different original projects, participates in several platinum and gold records in his homeland as bass player and composer. in 2018 he starts producing electronic music and in the following year he releases his first works. the original music of tempura the purple boy is a mixture of his influences coming from berlin's slow electronics, his roots from portuguese and brazilian folklore, a touch of his jazz school, and brian eno background music.
